From the G-SHOCK sports line "G-SQUAD" comes a model equipped with a heart rate monitor and GPS functionality. As a useful tool for workouts, it features an optical sensor capable of heart rate measurement, an acceleration sensor for step counting, as well as sensors for direction, altitude/barometric pressure, and temperature. Five types of sensors measure activity status in real-time during workouts. Furthermore, it acquires location information from GPS satellites, enabling the measurement of running distance, speed, pace, and more. It also supports the measurement of VO2max, which serves as a benchmark for cardiorespiratory ability based on measurements such as heart rate and running speed. This can be used as an indicator for improving endurance during activities like running. Additionally, a dedicated application has been newly developed to help with various watch settings and training management. In addition to allowing users to check their current fitness level and training progress, this model can automatically create training plans tailored to set goals.
